Love history love this app

Great for holidays and birthdays when try to find something good to say

I post one of these events daily on Facebook, everyone loves it.

Full of interesting historical facts and even comes with links to explain them. Would be nice if it could give you a fact of the day via notification but still an excellent app.

Lots of useless info thats always great to know.

I love how interactive this app is! You click on an event and then as you read the article a lot of the key words are highlighted so if something strikes you as interesting you can click on that as well. As a history buff this app is the best!

You can have fun learning history have a good time fantastic app.

Best app for "on this day"

For anyone who likes history, this is a remarkably complete accounting. This promises to be a daily reference for me.

There are lots of events, but very few important ones. It would be great to be able to filter the events by topic, influence, and area of interest.

I think this is a good history app. I would recommend it to anyone who likes history.

Wonderful app. Would be awesome if it gave news paper clippings and broadcasts and things. Definately adds to my nerdiness!!

Very nice and well designed app. It gives events, births, and deaths. You have the option to tap on most of them to read more about it on a wiki page.

Its personally offensive to me that this app would include the names of the hijackers on 9/11 as notable deaths...until then, it was an interesting app

Informative and interesting apps always intrigue me! I recommend this. If I could make a suggestion, however, please let there be a setting on whether youd like to view the most historic/impacting events in history first rather than chronological ones. I was shocked for a second September 11th didnt mention the 9/11 terrorist attack in 2001 until I realized it was simply below six or so other events. Id rather see the biggest ten historic events than the last ten.

I looked, Shakespeares birthday isnt there!!! I mean gosh!!!
