Pros and cons of On this day... app for iPhone and iPad

On this day... app good for

Funny and informative, this app is a "time tunnel" calendar. I really enjoy knowing what happened that specific day in other years, also who was born and who died. Miss some integration with native calendar ;)
I love this app. Facts and figures, history. My favorite subjects on one FREE app. How can anyone go wrong?
It does require an Internet connection, but seems to keep the current day cached even if youre offline, which is great. All in all, it works fine, looks decent and is free of charge, so no complaints here! (OS 3.0 on iPod Touch 2nd-gen)
Very cool app; needs more exciting stuff...gets boring after a few days.
I just fell in love with the Articles app! Looks great, full of useless data for the joe-know-all types. Great job!
This app is a good one. Only problem, the most important events, births and deaths arent at the top. You have to go through upwards of 200 people to find one that is interesting. But other than that, its great. Lots of useless information, and thats a good thing! (Y)

Some bad moments

Its alright, it has alot of interesting facts but it doesnt have all of them so I question how much effort they really put in, for instance, a famous bank robber named John Dillinger escaped on my birthday, and that wasnt on there, when you figure something that big in history would. (my birthday is march 31)
its all really old and mostly boring stuff, like no movie stars or celebrities or modern day stuff, but still pretty cool...
This is my favourite app, as a history enthusiast; however, as a decent person, I cannot stand by silently while you have Kim Davis birthdate listed. She is a disgraceful human being and should not be celebrated in any way. I ask that you remove this immediately. The amount of attention paid to this woman is reprehensible.
But we are waiting for russian trandlation!! Looks great, but add russian pls!!! 2* for a while
There are lots of events, but very few important ones. It would be great to be able to filter the events by topic, influence, and area of interest.
Its personally offensive to me that this app would include the names of the hijackers on 9/11 as notable deaths...until then, it was an interesting app

Usually On this day... iOS app used & searched for

wikipedia, wikipedia app, wikipedia mobile, tuis, and other. So, download free On this day... .ipa to run this nice iOS application on iPhone and iPad.
