I like that I can tap on the event or persons name and get in depth info. Thank you dev for this app

Well, its free and beggars cant be choosers. Theres some cool stuff in here, though its light on contemporary pop culture. Most people will not know the vast majority of the historic figures listed, but theres so many for each date that they are likely to know a few.

Great interface. Lots of cool history and information although most is ancient. One complaint, needs to go directly to todays date upon opening app instead of having to select it each and every time.

I like the app and am impressed with the updating of events (if something big happens today in 2010 theres a good chance youll read about it in the app on the same day) But I prefer to read about more recent events first, instead of starting with ancient events. Either create an option to show events "newest first" (decending/ascending order) or a shortcut to access the newest events quicker.

Personally, I like this app a lot. I would like to love it, but since it cant yet post directly to Facebook or Twitter, its utility remains limited. Should they ever add this feature, I would easily give this app 4 or even 5 stars.

I use this every day. Seamless Wikipedia integration and nice user interface. Its like an RSS reader for history!

On this day... makes for a great wind-down to any day. I enjoy sitting down and learning new things about history even if it does end up keeping me up later than I should be. Great complement to Articles as well.

Only thing that keeps me from giving it a five is the fact that it doesnt let people choose which wikipedia app to use.

Id give it five stars if they would add the option to reverse the dates and show the most recent events first. As interesting as some of the older events may be, I am interested in more recent history.

I really love this app. Its nothing out of necessity, its purely for entertainment and its a good dose for curiosity. The ability to read on through Wikipedia articles is a nice touch, and the app itself is very well designed. For some reason, I absolutely love the icon for it too. A must have, considering its free!

Indeed a great app. I start my morning with it to know what happened on this day, whobwas born. You do remeber very few after reading but that little info makes ur day.
